1 dozen to 1 1/2 dozen eggs
Water (enough to cover the eggs in the pan)
2 bottles of red food coloring
1/4 cup vinegar (approximately)
Place the eggs in a Dutch oven, laying them flat in a single layer (do not overlap).
Add water to the pan, just enough to cover the eggs.
Add 2 bottles of red food coloring and 1/4 cup vinegar to the water. Stir to combine.
Place the pan on the stove and bring the water to a boil.
Once boiling, cover with a lid and immediately lower the heat to a simmer.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the eggs to cool in the dye solution.
