1 lb. Filo (phyllo dough)
2 lbs. Dry Cottage Cheese
Feta Cheese
8 eggs (well beaten)
Salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Brush the bottom and sides of an 11x17-inch pan with butter.
Place 11 sheets of filo on the bottom, brushing butter between each layer.
Combine the cottage cheese, feta cheese, eggs, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Place in pan, and use the remainder of the filo.
Brush the top layer with butter. Optionally, take a little water and brush the top lightly for an even finish.
Bake until golden brown. The pie is done when it loosens from the sides of the pan, or you can judge by its golden color.
