Saltines (approx. 56 crackers)
1 cup real butter
1 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
1 pkg milk chocolate chips
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350
Line cookie sheet (with sides) with foil
Spray well with Pam
Line pan with the crackers
Melt the butter (1 cup) in a saucepan and add the brown sugar (1 cup)
Bring to a boil for ONLY ONE MINUTE
Remove from heat and add baking soda (1/4 tsp). Mix well. Will be foamy
Pour over crackers and spread evenly
Remove from oven and sprinkle on chocolate chips. When soft, spread evenly over pan
Sprinkle on nuts. Pat nuts down into the chocolate
Refrigerate when chocolate is set
Remove from foil and break into pieces
